Principal Trainer, Gunnery/Tactics
2123-013 to -016, -033 to -037

Duties/Responsibilities:
1.
Conducts an evaluation of the unit’s ability to perform battle focused tasks.
2. Provides technical guidance to the Professional Development Trainee attached to the Branch.
3. Plans, prepares and conducts Tactical training.
4. Plans, prepares and conducts Light Amored Vehicle (LAV) Modernization training.
5. Plans, prepares and conducts tactical sustainment training.
6. Plans, prepares and conducts field gunnery training.
7. Develops a program to retrain weaknesses.
8. Conducts critical task training.
9. Conducts collective training.
10. Conducts after action reviews after all training.
11. Other duties as directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Educational Level: High School Graduate. Basic Course Graduate (BNOC) An equivalent combination of college level courses, military and job site experience may be substituted.
2. Experience: Three (3) years of training and operation experience in US military Mechanized/Armor BDE/BN. Related experience in Bradley/LAV-25 Gunnery Program or job site experience.
3. Specific knowledge, skills, and ability requirements: Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, read and understanding technical and training manuals. Knowledge of current tactics and training doctrine. Hands-on experience in use of simulators and training devices. Be computer literate. Possess a valid driver’s license. Former NCO.

Principal Trainer, Turret / Senior Trainer Turret
2327-004 / 2413-004

Duties/Responsibilities:
1.
Provides LAV turret, new equipment maintenance training and formal On-The-Job (OJT) programs to SANG soldiers in conjunction with New Equipment Training (NET).
2. Identifies requirements and requisition material for repair of LAV Equipment using a variety of English language U.S. military and civilian manuals.
3. Maintains training records; prepares and submits required training reports.
4. Assist in the development and execution planning of training activities.
5. Conducts maintenance assistance and instruction programs for SANG personnel and units.
6. Provides technical assistance to SANG units, as required.
7. Performs repairs and other maintenance for LAV systems.
8. Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Education Level: High School. Associate degree preferred. U.S. Army technical training in turret repair.
2. Experience: Minimum of Four (4) or Six (6) years experience in turret repair, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Knowledge of principles and techniques of turret repair; knowledge of safety precautions. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Senior Trainer, Medical Logistics
2424-001, 2440-004

Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Principal developer of logistics training programs for the Saudi Arabian National Guard. Has supervisory responsibility over all unit-level medical logistics training and assistance.
2. Conducts training, assistance, and counsel to all unit-level logistics managers, unit staff officers, and commanders.
3. Supervises the conduct, functions, growth, and transition of the Field Medical Logistics Assistance and Training Team.
4. Provides Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for the development of manuals, SOPs, policies, etc. in the medical logistics field. Ensures current US doctrine is available for integration into all training, publications, and policies as appropriate.
5. Provides SME and assistance to the Manager, MUTB in the conduct of his analysis and the development of recommendations for fundamental modernization changes to the National Guard’s medical supply system.
6. Performs other duties as required.
7. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises three medical logistics trainers and assistant trainers.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Education Level: College degree and AMEDD Officer Advanced Course or service equivalent level school, NCO service school graduate.
2. Experience: Former Army Medical Department Commissioned Officer or AMEDD Non-Commissioned Officer. Five years experience, to include command/staff experience in division or brigade level health services support operations. Logistics management experience in field units at Corps-level or below.
3. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Must have the ability to express thoughts/concepts clearly and concisely, orally and in writing. Knowledge of medical equipment and logistics operations. Must possess basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Driver’s license required.

Chief Trainer, Command & Control
2131-005, -006

Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Assists/trains the BDE/BN Commanders and S3 and operations personnel of the assigned brigades, battalions and separate companies in developing plans and evaluating tactical training, operations and sustainment.
2. Evaluates Individual Training Requirements (ITRs) by unit; trains the BDE S3 staff on how to produce the ITRs.
3. Assists and trains Brigade Commander/Brigade S3 on the use and integration of training aids, devices, simulators and simulations into the Brigade Training Plan.
4. Trains the BDE/BN S3 in coordinating brigade assets for training.
5. Trains the BDE/BN S3 and Staff on tactical training, training management, staff procedures and command post operations.
6. Coordinates the Brigade’s Battle Staff Training Program.
7. Provides training and assistance to SANG units participating in CPXs and FTXs.
8. Plans, coordinates and executes CPXs and FTXs.
9. Assists in command and control and maneuver POI development as SME.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
11. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises one (1) Interpreter/Translator.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree. CGSC Graduate or equivalent. An equivalent combination of college level courses, military training or job site experience may be substituted.
2. Experience: Eight (8) years of training and operations experience. Must have training management and operations experience in Mechanized/Light Infantry or Armor BN related experience in the development, execution and evaluation of battalion/brigade field training, live fire, and command post exercises.
3. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Must be knowledgeable of the latest U.S. military tactics, training and operations doctrine. Knowledge of ADP techniques and capabilities. Be computer literate. Former Field Grade Officer preferred. Possess a valid driver’s license.

Chief Trainer, Operations/Intelligence
2123-002, 2140-002

Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Coaches and mentors the BN S2/S3 and the one Rifle BN, CSC and HHC, in developing plans and evaluating gunnery, tactical and sustainment training.
2. Coaches and mentors the BN Commander/ BN S2/S3 on the use and integration of training aids, devices, simulators and simulations into the Battalion Training Plan.
3. Coaches and mentors the BN S3 and subordinate units in preparing a yearly training guidance calendar.
4. Coaches and mentors the BN S3 on Annual Ammunition Forecasts.
5. Coaches and mentors the BN S3 in coordinating Battalion assets for training.
6. Coaches and mentors the BN S2, S3 and Staff on tactical training, training management and staff procedures.
7. Coordinates the Battalion’s Battle Staff Training Program by developing concepts for CPXs, STXs and FTXs.
8. Coaches and mentors in developing a Train-The-Trainer plan to prepare NCOs to instruct tactical & gunnery training.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Education Level: College Graduate. CAS3 graduate, CGSC preferred. An equivalent
combination of college level courses, military and job site experience may be substituted.
2. Experience: Six (6) years of training and operation experience in US military BDE/BN.
Experience in the use of simulators and other training devices.
3. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Must be able to communicate
effectively both orally and in writing. Be computer literate. Must be able to interface with
U.S. Army and SANG Officers. Knowledge of current US Army tactics and training doctrine.
Posses a valid driver’s license. Former Field Grade Commissioned Officer Preferred.
