Comments from a Former Saudi Employee

In July 2000 Vinnell Arabia hired me as Technical Interpreter/Translator, S-17. Since then every thing had changed in my life and the way I look at it. I know there is no need to mention such personal information here. What I would like to talk about is the role of Vinnell Arabia in framing my perspective and set my goals.

On the education level, the company wanted every employee to be as professional and updated as he can. The company won't terminate an employee just because he can not do the job, it will encourage him to take any required training at the most distinguished training centers and he will be paid. Not to mention the training programs held at Vinnell Arabia, which can not be found outside its walls.

As regard to my experience in that level. I have got translation diploma in 2003 and it was paid by the company after I got passed. This year I have got my bachelor degree from Arab Open University. I was helped to maximum by my section and HRD, I was encouraged, though not verbally, to go on and get my degree.

On the medical level, I was treated at the best hospitals in my town. If I was outside town and needed to see a physician, the company will reimburse me. My parents were treated as well. Once I wanted to do a surgery out of the insurance, in a different hospital. The company was willing to pay the expenses so I can get better treatment.

There is a lot to say about the hands of Vinnell and the way it tries to make each employee safe and well treated. There are incidents in each company can make the employee uncomfortable. The different in Vinnell Arabia that there are extra elements make everybody wants to stay and make a better person out of himself.

Finally, Thank you Vinnell I am on my way now to do a MBA program may be I will be back one day.
